Here at Atlantic Beach, we are a tight-knit community who believe in helping others. As you know from a previous post, we went to the re-opening of The Pink Cupcake the other night. The ribbon cutting ceremony was flawless, and the food was top -notch. I love small businesses like this because of the family element, the attention to detail, and the exceptional customer service. Kelly, the owner, has been in the industry for a while and includes her children in the kitchen as well. We are working on selling some of our coffee there, so stay tuned. Coffee and cupcakes. Could it get better? Well, yes, it can.
While I was at The Pink Cupcake, I met the husband and wife team that owns Treasured Tea. They were handing out free samples of amazing flavored teas and I liked their approach, their products, and the mermaid logo! So I reached out to Tara, who runs the e-commerce store, and we hit it off. So well in fact that The Pantry is now sponsoring their teas. They have myriad flavors and they package them by hand. Tara is crazy about tea much like I am about coffee and she floored me with her knowledge of every aspect about tea, from the growing process, to packaging and how to properly brew fresh teas. To top it off, she values conservation and has the same environmental policies as The Pantry. So check out her site and let us know what you think. Holistic teas and wickedly good coffee? A match made in heaven!
