The Sea Cook is JP’s first production and will be published soon. This image is the working cover of the e-book. The book will also be available in paperback and hardcover. This book highlights my culinary journey through the Caribbean and the United States while working aboard offshore tugboats. The Sea Cook is a memoir and a cookbook and that invites the reader to join me as I sail to many ports of call and experience the local culinary culture. I introduce the reader to life in a galley and the various cooking techniques that are required while cooking on a boat. There are several essays on the places where I have traveled and how they developed my eclectic cooking style. I also include recipes that are staples of the places I have been to. The recipes include shrimp and grits from Savannah, Georgia, mojo pork from Cuba, Thai larb from New York City, and many more. These recipes are easy to make and completely adaptable for the home chef. I dedicate the book to chef Grayson, my mentor, who inspired me to write the book. Grab a cup of coffee and join me as I take you along my sea-bound culinary journey. Happy Eats!
